I am a Galway based Palestinian/naturalised Irish film director and editor. My latest work is the participatory documentary “ Children of Here” which tackles questions of diversification and homesickness through the eyes of young children. In 2022, I directed “The Cities I Live In” which is a creative documentary that is centred around my experience of leaving Beirut in 2020 to become a father in Belfast. The film received positive critical acclaim and screened in many festivals in Ireland and beyond, including DOC NYC and Glasgow Shorts Film Festival. In 2023 it won the Best Irish Short Documentary at Docs Ireland.
